What began over a decade ago as a grassroots effort by a group of dedicated local leaders has evolved into a multi-day experience that celebrates speed, innovation, and the spirit of offshore racing. Now under the leadership of the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA), Thunder on Cocoa Beach enters a new era of growth and opportunity. With IHRA’s national platform and racer-first approach, the event will continue to expand its reach, enhance the fan experience, and elevate the level of competition on the water.
